Who We Are

Kirk Henderson

Kirk Henderson, born in Cortland NY in 1956, moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1958 when his father decided to relocate the family.

He started his financial planning career in 1988 with American Express Financial Advisors, now Ameriprise, and attended College of Financial Planning from 1991 – 1994.

He became an independent financial advisor in 1995 and has been with American Portfolios Financial Services since April 2008. As an independent financial advisor he only answers to his clients.

Working with clients through all stages of their financial lives over the last 35+ years has been a truly rewarding experience for Kirk. This involves reviewing all areas of a clients’ current financial situation, including short term and long term goals, income tax, retirement, estate planning and insurance.

Kirk currently lives with his wife, Faith Schwack, on Singer Island.

Erica Smith

Erica M. Smith-Chepurko is a Certified Finanical Planner at American Portfolios, where she educates and guides her clients through different stages of their financial lives, including Retirement Planning, Insurance, and Tax Planning for both short-term and long-term needs.

Erica M. Smith-Chepurko has accomplished the Circle of Champions award in the health insurance market specializing in Medicare. Her clients include those planning for their children’s college funding to retirees looking to maximize their income in retirement. You can expect 100% transparency and no surprises when working with Erica.
